This course will introduce you to the basic
functions of the G1000 EFIS system. With the aid of a computer simulated G1000 Primary and Multifunction Flight Display, our goal is to educate
you on the most frequently used features of this glass
panel system; setting the altimeter, creating a flight
plan, engine diagnostics, etc.
All WWFC Pilots/Renters will be required to have completed this course before commencing any training on the DA 40.

Minimum 8 students required to run.
This course is an informative look at commercial two-crew operations. Using a typical Air Charter SOPs and with access to a 2 seat simulator, we will take you through a one day initial ground school scenario similar to that which you might experience when you get that first Charter job. The one day ground school will be followed by a 2 hour - 2 crew scenario in a certified simulator (date/time to be confirmed following ground school). This course will cover VFR use of the GNS430 system, with IFR info to come afterward if people are interested (i.e. after 1130). The Garmin interface will be running on a simulator so the attendees can actually interact with the program, as it would be used in an aircraft.
